Jio, the network owned by Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance, has gone down in Mumbai. Many Jio users reported the issue on X (formerly known as Twitter). Some users even started trolling Mukesh Ambani because of the outage.

Many Mumbai residents took to X, sharing screenshots showing that their Jio network was down. Because of this, they couldn’t make calls or send messages.

More than 10,000 complaints registered

On the website Down Detector, which tracks outages, it was found that over 10,000 reports were made between 11:15 AM and 12:30 PM on September 17, 2024. This means many Jio users were facing problems with their services. Screenshots shared by users showed that while Airtel’s network was available, Jio’s network was completely down.

After the server went down, some people began trolling Mukesh Ambani on social media. Here are some posts shared by users on X.

Issues with Jio Fiber too

In addition to mobile network issues, users also faced problems with Jio’s broadband service, Jio Fiber. Many users on social media reported that they couldn’t use Jio Fiber services suddenly.

As of now, Reliance Jio has not released an official statement about this major outage. Users are waiting to see what the company will say and how long it will take to fix the issue.
