Mayawati, the leader of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), has criticized Arvind Kejriwal’s resignation as Delhi Chief Minister. She described it as political maneuvering and questioned who would be held accountable for the difficulties faced by Delhi’s residents during his extended stay in jail.
On X, Mayawati wrote: “Arvind Kejriwal resigning from the Delhi CM post seems to be more about political maneuvering rather than public welfare. What about the numerous inconveniences and problems faced by Delhi’s people during his long imprisonment? Who will answer for that?”

She further stated: “It is better if the political battle between the ruling party and the opposition does not become hostile, as it can negatively impact the country and public interest. BSP’s government in UP also faced similar issues when the Congress-led central government obstructed projects like the Jewar Airport and Ganga Expressway, hindering public interest and development.”
