The situation in Devbhoomi Uttarakhand is getting worse as continuous heavy rains have caused floods and landslides in many parts of the state. The Meteorological Department has again issued a rain alert for the third day in a row. Due to this, schools in Chamoli, Champawat, Nainital, and two other districts have been closed today.

Rainfall Warning in Many Districts

According to the Dehradun Weather Center, several districts may see very heavy rainfall today. An orange alert has been issued for Dehradun, Nainital, Champawat, and Udham Singh Nagar, while a yellow alert has been given for the remaining districts. Weather expert Rohit Thakral said that multiple rounds of rainfall are expected, and the temperature has already dropped below normal. The forecast suggests that the rain will continue in the coming days as well.
