Madhya Pradesh Revenue Minister Karan Singh Verma is known for his straightforwardness. Recently, he openly admitted that he has always been weak in mathematics and struggles with keeping accounts. This candid admission has sparked much discussion.
School Bus Service Launch
At a recent event, Minister Verma visited the CM Rise School in Ichhawar, his own former school, and flagged off eight new buses for the school. The government has provided these buses to improve transportation for students.
Details of the Bus Service
Currently, three buses are on contract and have been flagged off by Verma. These buses will serve routes from Ghazikhedi, Nadan, and Semli Jadid to Ichhawar. Five more buses are expected to arrive soon, which will cover routes from Ramnagar, Bhaokhedi, Jhalki, Arya, and Devariya to Ichhawar.
Reflecting on His Past
Speaking at the event, Minister Verma expressed his pride in contributing to the development of the school where he studied. He reminisced about his past, saying he used to live in a rented room in Ichhawar and study hard.
Advice to Students
Verma encouraged students to study diligently. He noted that, unlike in his time, today’s government schools are well-equipped with many facilities. He hopes the new free transportation service will make it easier for students to attend school.
