The Haryana BJP core group meeting has ended after about six hours of discussions on Thursday, August 29. According to sources, discussions were held for all 90 assembly seats in the state, and panels with three names for each seat have been prepared. These panels will be presented in the central election committee meeting for final approval.
Sources suggest that BJP might give a ticket to Rao Inderjit Singh’s daughter, Aarti Singh Rao. Similarly, Kuldeep Bishnoi’s son, Bhavya Bishnoi, is also expected to get a party ticket. About a dozen sitting MLAs might lose their tickets, and the party could also drop two ministers. The BJP is preparing to bet on around two dozen young faces in the upcoming elections.
Meanwhile, former Haryana minister Anil Vij stated, “The state team has informed the central leadership about all the matters. Our party is a democratic one. The final decision will be made by the central leadership in the central parliamentary board.”
