The police recently busted a terror module in Faridabad, Haryana, leading to the arrest of Dr. Muzammil from Al-Falah University. Authorities reportedly found 360 kg of explosives and several weapons in his room. Furthermore, Umar un Nabi, the suspect in the Delhi blast who is believed to have carried out a suicide attack, was also allegedly linked to Al-Falah University. Consequently, the Faridabad Police are conducting continuous raids on the university campus to gather information about other suspects.
In response, Al-Falah University has released a press statement offering clarification. The University Management asserts that the suspected doctors have no personal connection to the institution; they were only associated with their official work. The university also emphasized that no dangerous chemicals or materials are used or stored on their campus.
Work Done According to Protocol – Vice Chancellor
Through the press release, Al-Falah University stated that their labs are used exclusively for the training and education of MBBS students. All activities are conducted according to strict security protocols.
Dr. Bhupinder Kaur Anand, the Vice Chancellor of Al-Falah University, expressed her distress in the release: “We are deeply hurt and disturbed by these unfortunate developments and condemn them. Our thoughts and prayers are with all those affected by these tragic events. Two of our doctors have been taken into custody by investigating agencies. We want to clarify that the University has no personal relationship with these two doctors.”

Vice Chancellor Bhupinder Kaur Anand further stated: “We also want to clearly state that, as a responsible institution, we stand in solidarity with the nation and reaffirm our unwavering commitment to the unity, peace, and security of our country. Furthermore, the University is providing its full cooperation to the concerned investigating officers so that they can reach a logical, fair, and conclusive decision in this matter related to national security.”
