Kangana Ranaut, a Bollywood actor and BJP Member of Parliament from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, is once again in the news due to her recent statement. This time, she has made headlines by commenting on the farm laws, which the central government had previously repealed. Her statement has once again caused problems for the BJP.

Kangana has demanded that the three repealed farm laws be reintroduced. After this comment, the entire opposition has united and is attacking the BJP. This is the second time within a month that Kangana’s statement has created trouble for the party. Like before, the BJP has distanced itself from her statement, calling it her personal opinion. 1. September 24, 2024
   Kangana said, “The three controversial farm laws should be reintroduced. Farmers themselves should demand the return of these laws. I know this statement is controversial, but the farm laws were beneficial for farmers. The government had to repeal them due to protests by some farmer groups in certain states. Farmers are the pillars of strength for the nation’s development. I appeal to them to ask for the laws to be reinstated for their own good.”
2. August 25, 2024
   Kangana stated that the farmers’ protest was an attempt to create a situation similar to Bangladesh in India. She said, “What happened in Bangladesh can happen here as well if our leadership is not strong. The farmer protests had dead bodies hanging, rapes happening. There was a long plan, just like in Bangladesh. Foreign powers like China and America were involved in these conspiracies. Do you think it was just about farmers?”
3. August 2024
   In August this year, when asked about caste-based census, Kangana compared her stance to that of Yogi Adityanath. She said, “We will be united if we stay virtuous, but divided if we fight. Caste census should not happen. Do we ask Bollywood stars about their caste? No one cares about caste. We need to focus on the increasing violence against women in the country.”
4. November 3, 2021
   In 2021, Kangana also made controversial remarks about the farmers’ protest, accusing some participants of being “Khalistani terrorists.” She claimed that there was a conspiracy to divide the country, with Khalistani elements involved. In an Instagram post, she wrote, “Khalistani terrorists are troubling the government… but let’s not forget the only woman prime minister who crushed them under her shoes. No matter how much pain they caused this country, she crushed them like mosquitoes at the cost of her life but didn’t allow the country to break.” This statement angered the Sikh community, leading to multiple complaints against her. This incident also caused trouble for the BJP.
