In the Zia-ul-Haq murder case, a special CBI court in Lucknow has found 10 accused guilty. The court made this decision during a hearing on Friday. The names of those found guilty are Phoolchand Yadav, Pawan Yadav, Manjeet Yadav, Ghanshyam Saroj, Ram Lakhan, Chote Lal Yadav, Ram Ashray, Munna Lal Yadav, Shivram Pasi, and Jagat Pal.
According to the CBI, in 2013, DSP Zia-ul-Haq from Kunda went with a police team to the house of village head Nanhe Yadav in Bali Pur. The situation was tense in the area after the murder of Nanhe Yadav, and the police were there to maintain law and order.
Court to Announce Sentence on October 9
It is alleged that after the police arrived in the village, the family members and supporters of the late Nanhe Yadav became even more angry. They attacked the police with sticks and other weapons, and during the chaos, DSP Zia-ul-Haq was killed by the mob. The court will announce the punishment for all the guilty individuals on October 9.

It is noted that DSP Zia-ul-Haq had been recently posted in Kunda, and there were reports that he was under pressure at the time.
In this case, DSP Zia-ul-Haq’s wife, Parveen, filed a complaint that included names like Kunda MLA Raghuraj Pratap Singh, also known as Raja Bhaiya, and village head Gulshan Yadav. However, the CBI investigation cleared Raja Bhaiya and Gulshan Yadav of any wrongdoing. The case gained significant political attention, and due to its seriousness, the UP government handed over the investigation to the CBI.
